I choose to love myself under all conditions.

That’s a personal truth I return to again and again—and it shapes how I show up in my work.
I believe that love creates space for growth, compassion builds safety, and therapy becomes most powerful when it honors your full humanity.

I support people who are ready to move beyond surviving—who want to explore the roots of anxiety, navigate major life transitions, and develop a more connected, compassionate relationship with themselves. Together, we create a space where you can bring your truth without apology.

My own journey in this work began with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the College of Charleston, where I first became curious about how we carry, hide, or transform our emotional experiences. I later earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Forensics from Walden University, which deepened my understanding of the systems that shape us and the inner strength people use to move forward, even in complex circumstances.

Experience That Grounds My Work

I’ve had the privilege of working in community mental health, the juvenile justice system, hospital-based crisis care, and primary care clinics. These experiences taught me how nuanced mental health truly is—and how deeply clients benefit from therapy that is not only evidence-based, but also grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and emotional safety.

In every role, one truth has remained: people want to feel seen, understood, and safe. That’s the foundation of the work I do through Centered Self Care.

Credentials and Clinical Background

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, with a specialization in Forensics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across community mental health, hospital crisis teams, juvenile justice settings, and integrated medical practices. Each experience has deepened my belief that therapy is not a luxury—it’s a place to come home to yourself.

At Centered Self Care, I’ve woven together all of these threads into a practice that centers compassion, curiosity, and practical support.

What to Expect

Sessions are virtual, confidential, and client-led. I offer therapy for clients ages 16 and up throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, with a session rate of $130.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to understand yourself on a deeper level—therapy can help you make sense of what’s been and make space for what’s next.

Let’s Begin

You don’t have to carry everything alone.
And you don’t have to change who you are to be worthy of care.

If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with honesty, warmth, and respect—I’d be honored to support your journey.
